What ratio of oil do I need for a two cycle push lawnmower?
It's a Lawnboy 6.5 hp push mower, but nowhere on the mower does it say what ratio of oil I need for the mix. I looked on the gas cap and there is no owners manual. Used mower I just picked up.
I'm 100% a 2 stroke, that much I know. I jsut don't know if it's 32:1 or 50:1?
Most lawnboy mowers of that size will have a Briggs and Stratton or Toro motor that should be a 4 stroke motor and uses straight gas. Does it have a location to check the oil level? If so it is a 4 stroke. They have not made a 2 stroke motor for those machines since the early 90`s. If it really is a 2 stroke the entire unit including the motor would be the same green color and the pull cord would come straight up from the engine, not from the side.Check below and maybe that will help
