How do you start the engine for a gas powered RC car?
I bought a used RC car. It's a gas powered RC and I'm not sure how to start the engine.
Any suggestions??
For starters it depends on if it is actually gas powered or Nitromethane powered(most "gas" powered, small block rc cars). If it is a nitromethane powered car you would need to make sure that it has fresh fuel in it(stales very easily). Make sure that you have a charged glow plug heater. And then actual starting methods also very. There are pull starters, there are bump starters, and there are specialized starters(like those that Traxxas use).
