When should be the first oil change in a air Cooled Standby Generator?

!st. Follow manufactures advice. The type of cycle you stated is called severe service.
2.Use good oil and change at least 2x per year. Check into synthetic or add a tiny bit of slick 50 to the engine or buy there small engine slick. It will help the wear situation for the 20 min cycle.
3.Also, use stabil for the gas to prevent rust and gumming.
4.Check oil before starting or at least once a week before it starts.
5. Make sure it is vented to the outside. People die of carbon monoxide poisoning all the time.
